When I saw this particular scene in the cinema, my knees instantly turned to pudding - I could hardly watch it. The bloodcurdling horrified look in the alien's eyes and his shivering arms in the air, the sheer helplessness and fear still makes me feel overwhelmingly crushed, not to mention the despicable sickening injustice!

The first half is slightly different from the second, but both are above average. I will tell you this, the first 45 minutes are like nothing you've seen before. A nice new spin on Docu-Drama genre thanks to the introduction of a sci-fi element. I believe its scheduled for a August 14th release in the states. Short synopsis from online: Aliens peacefully come to Earth but are kept at District 9 where they are forced to work for the community. MNU (Multi-National United) are tasked with discovering the technology behind the alien weapons. When a soldier from MNU is exposed to alien biotechnology, he mutates into a half human and half Non-Human and becomes a wanted man by both sides.
