One day I was in Newmarket with a friend. We decided to get coffee and went into this little independent coffee shop. Nice little place. So my friend orders his coffee and plain bagel, and then I order my onion bagel. He paid with his credit card and, as I rarely carry cash, I paid with my credit card. After paying I find my friend at our table with my coffee as we wait for our bagels. As we were waiting I realized that I had not signed for my purchase. I asked my friend if he had to sign for his, and he said he did. I thought this rather odd and decided to inquire at the counter. "I just purchased a coffee and an onion bagel just moments ago," I said. "I remember," the friendly cashier replied. "I paid with a credit card, but I didn't sign for it, I'm afraid." "Goodness!" she said examining the register tape. "Here it is. Would you mind signing?" "Not at all!" I said, elated. "I'm just glad I thought to ask." What a day that was. So happy. The End.

Sketching a Face- Basic Proportions
It's been a while since my last video. The reason was that I had to wait to get my new 9x12 Intuos to replace the old 4x5 Graphire I was using for the past videos. Anyway... So I got a few requests of people wanting me to show proportions of the face and how to start it. So this is a pretty basic attempt at that. I recorded it at actual speed, but it seems really slow because I'm still getting used to this new tablet. I'm at least 3 times faster with paper and a pencil. Programs used were Painter IX and Camtasia Studio. For those wondering what brush I used, it was a 2B Pencil with default settings, at a 2.2 size and with a light light blue-gray colour. Man faces jail for recording out of control cop
Anthony Graber was riding his motorcycle with a camera attached to his helmet recording his ride. It happened near the Riverside exit of I-95. A Maryland State trooper in an unmarked car pulled over Graber for speeding. The trooper is seen in a YouTube video that Graber posted, jumping out of the car and tells Graber "Get off the motorcycle, get off the motorcycle! Get off the motor cycle, State Police." The trooper is seen pulling his gun immediately after getting out of the unmarked car. It's not until five seconds after he exits the car that he identifies himself a Maryland State trooper.
