The new AFS lens is aimed at professionals and amateurs a like. What makes this a very enticing lens is the fact that it sells for $499.99. At that price it gives amateurs and pros a reasonably priced professional lens to help them take their images to the next level. In this review I put the new 85 1.8g AFS against the older 85 1.8 AFD and for fun I brought out the 85mm f1.f AFS Nikon. While I was at Allen's Camera I set up a quick little test shooting scene and than used the three lenses listed above to capture the same scene. Full Res Sample images can be found here froknowsphoto.com Nikon finally put out an update to one of its most popular lenses the 85 1.4 AFD with the brand NEW 85 1.4 AFS. The new lens is priced at $1699.99 and can be purchased from Allen's Camera 215.547.2841 tell him the Fro sent you. I got to unbox, sniff test and take sample images with this lens. It is built extremely well as you would expect from any new PRO piece of glass. When it comes to testing out equipment some people take it way to far, they shoot charts and extreme crops of files to see if they see any defects. I am more into getting the good glass and using it for what I bought it for, to capture great images. These camera companies are not going to put out crap lenses just to put them out. The key difference among the three classifications (available for sale; trading portfolio; and held to maturity) is the treatment of unrealized gains or losses. For example, assume a company owns a coupon-paying bond that increases in value due to a decline in interest rates: * If trading portfolio, the value increase is recognized on the income statement as an unrealized gain and the balance sheet (ie, Both B/S and I/S) * If available for sale, the value gain is not recognized on the income statement but rather as other comprehensive income (OCI) under equity which, by definition, grows equity but not income (ie, balance sheet only) * If held to maturity, the unrealized gain is not recognized on either statement (Neither!)

www.facebook.com www.PhotographersOnUTube.com In this video I am comparing two Nikon Nikkor lenses, AF 50mm f D lens and Nikon AFS 50mm f/1.8 G lens. The 1.8G lens is a newer lens with built in AF motor for fast and quiet focusing. In my opinion 1.8G lens has the edge over 1.8D lens but it also costs a $100 more than 1.8D lens. If you can afford to spend the extra money then it's worth it specially if you're a semi pro or pro photographer.

Already some are cursing it as much as those praising it. Audio on SSB seems to be the issue, and indeed I have today noticed the same, answer was to drop the mike gain back. Sure maybe its an error, but who cares. The radio works well all the same. A little less than 4watts power but it seems to do the job you want it to. SOTA and summer trips abroard. My friend Petr 329ET201 has the AE201S and always takes it on holidays and ALWAYS hear him on the air, the radio works well from all the places he takes it. So, summer time and it is SOTA time hopefully and more will be said and done about the radio. Duracells are Ready, Antenna and 10m Fibreglass Pole Ready. Conditions NOT READY :)
